I probably would have done things differently. That is a bit of an understatement really.
I can't say I wouldn't have my family as they are today, but I would have made better decisions at times when I feel I made rash or ill conceived ones, and possibly created a more productive and reasoned lifestyle along the way. I am no fan of chaos, either before or after my actions, it seems to be a big fan of mine though.
You have only one go at life, the trouble being you are less well equipped to do it all at the time, than you are when the deed is done. Doesn't make much sense really? Hindsight, a little foresight and we could dispense with it.
The time machine has been invented, they call them "older people". They can pass on timeless wisdom without the risk of altering the space/time continuum, we just choose to ignore their advice until all hope of using it has past.
